Knocked off balance 9/20/2013‏

*It takes the whole body and mind to maintain
balance, there isn't any problem of balance in
playing that doesn't involve mind or the whole body,
for example, the fatigue of arms involves much more
  than just arm movements.

*Why can "split & play" and "play on left foot" help
finding the problem and maintaining balance?
They "extend (or stretch)" the mind to the whole body
and keep mind together with body, they exemplify the
natural law of how body and mind function together.

*That's why any extra thinking or sudden shift of mind
or over-extending or showing-off motions or....
whatever....knocks us off balance under the
examination and practice of "split & play" and
  "play on left foot".

*It's OK, I am also knocked off balance very often
  by myself....EmojiEmojiEmojiEmoji

Let's see if these people are knocked off balance
by themselves~

諏訪內晶子 (Akiko Suwanai) plays Mozart

林昭亮

Oistrakh plays Bruch: Scottish Fantasy
(well, you don't need to see the playing...)

(...however, watch this and you will realize if Oistrakh
plays within balance) 鄭京和 playing Bruch

How do Oistrakh and Oborin keep the
descending scales (0:12) within balance?

Is Anne-Sophie Mutter knocked off balance
with same scales? (And how is the second time

starting at 1:57?)
